Knights are the Sheepdogs of the Church.

FAMILY

We believe that strong families are the foundation of society and reveal the glory of God. We are committed to a Biblical understanding of marriage and supporting one another in raising children who love Jesus.

CHURCH

We believe that the Church is the Bride of Christ. We are committed to caring for our brothers and sisters in Jesus, here at home and around the world. We are ready to respond to any danger that may threaten our Churches.

COMMUNITY

We believe that God has given every Christian a solemn responsibility to share the Gospel with the whole world. We stand ready to meet the needs of our communities with the love of Jesus during natural and man-made disasters.

OUR VISION...

raise up a new generation of Christian Knights ready to answer
the call whenever and wherever they are needed.

Knights and Fellows

Knights and Fellows make up the backbone of the ROCK. These highly trained men of God care for their families well, actively serve in their local church congregation, and are ready to serve their community in its darkest hour.

Dames and Ladies

Our Women’s Auxiliary supports the work of the ROCK through prayer, meeting logistical needs, caring for children, and supporting the work of the Knights wherever God calls them.

Cadets

The Cadet Program prepares boys to become capable men of God. Through merit-badge training at home or in a small group cohort called a “Core,” boys learn about the Bible, valuable life and survival skills, and receive mentoring from a community of godly men.

OUR FAITH...

in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High God.

ROMANS ROAD TO SALVATION

Romans Road to Salvation is a method of sharing the Gospel using select verses from the Book of Romans. This technique teaches us about the consequences for sin and God’s plan of salvation through His Son. It’s a powerful tool in the evangelistic toolbox.

THE NICENE CREED

Written to combat the Arian and Macedonian Heresies (which claim that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not fully God), the Nicene Creed serves as a unifying statement of true Christian beliefs. We are committed to unity in first-order doctrines, liberty in second-order doctrines, and charity for all.

CULTURALLY RELEVANT ISSUES

Throughout all ages of the church, Christians have been called to speak up about the major culturally relevant subjects. We believe that we are sinners made saints by the power of the Blood of Jesus and that gently and firmly calling out sin is one of the most loving things anyone can do.

The Essentials of Chivalry

The Code

Faith in spite of Doubt;
Justice in spite of Law;
Love in spite of War;
Service in spite of Rank;
Courage in spite of Fear.

The Code of Chivalry is a summary of the Fruit of the Spirit articulated for the warrior spirit. It is a moral compass to guide a Knights actions and decisions; a reminder of what God expects from him.

Without the Code, a Knight is in danger of becoming consumed by the power he wields as a mighty warrior.

The Path

The Path to Knighthood is a process for discipling Boys into Men, and Men into Servants, Warriors, and Leaders.

The sons of our members can begin training at age 8. Other boys can join around age 12 when they become Cadets. When they enter adulthood, they enter one-on-one mentorship with an experienced knight as a Squire.

Men join the Order as a Novice and progress through the ranks of Fellow, Corporal, and Sergeant.

Without a clear path of discipleship, men don’t know what is expected of them.

The Brotherhood

The Brotherhood of the Order of Chivalry serves two purposes: Fellowship and Leadership.

Men need fellowship for accountability, encouragement, and mentorship. Warriors need leadership to ensure their efforts make the most impact for the Kingdom of God.

Knights should love the Brotherhood. In an ideal world, a man’s Core Fellowship should become part of his inner circle; the men he trusts with his life and can rely on in any situation.

The Trial

The Trials of Knighthood test a man’s readiness to serve as a Knight of God and reflect Paul’s command to test leaders before ordaining them.

  • The Trial of the Mind is trained through study, discernment, and emotional discipline.
  • The Trial of the Body is tested through physical readiness, endurance, and sacrifice.
  • The Trial of the Spirit is refined through prayer, purity, and faithful devotion.

These Trials guard against pride, unpreparedness, and spiritual weakness. Without them, a Knight may carry power—but not the character to wield it rightly.

The Achievement

A Knight’s Heraldic Achievement, or coat of arms, is a visual testimony crafted in symbol and color, bearing witness to the work of God in a man’s life.

Each element is a declaration of the man’s identity in Christ; his spiritual victories, the virtues he strives to uphold, and the mission to which he has been called.

The symbols are not chosen for pride or vanity, but for remembrance. They remind the Knight of the high standard God has set before him, the battles he has endured, the lessons learned through hardship, and the grace that has sustained him.

The Vigil

The Knight’s Vigil is a solemn time of prayer, reflection, and “counting the cost” of lifelong service in God’s army. It mirrors Christ’s own time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane before the Cross.

Before taking his vows, the Knight must examine his heart, seek God’s will, and consider the weight of his calling. As Jesus commanded that His disciples, “Count the cost” of following him. The Vigil is that moment where a man lays his soul bare before God and considers the weight of what He is being called to.

The Vows

The Vows of Knighthood—Obedience, Stewardship, and Purity—reflect the Christ’s expectation for all Christians, but are declared before God and witnesses to embrace accountability and acknowledge the seriousness of accepting the call to a life of chivalry.

  • Obedience – Submitting to God’s Word and righteous authority.
  • Stewardship – Managing time, gifts, and resources for God’s glory.
  • Purity – Walking in holiness with integrity of heart, body, and mind.

The vows are not a claim to perfection but a pledge to pursue Christlikeness with humility, repentance, and resolve.

The Accolade

The Knighthood Accolade, or Dubbing Ceremony, is a commissioning—a form of ordination into a life of service, sacrifice, and leadership. Just as leaders in the Church are set apart through the laying on of hands, the Knight is recognized through three ceremonial blows of the sword, representing his vows of Obedience, Stewardship, and Purity—each made before the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

This moment marks the Knight’s public acceptance of his duty and his consecration to the work of God. The Accolade affirms that the Knight is now a servant-leader—commissioned to seek justice, show mercy, and walk humbly with God.

The Quest

The Knight’s Great Quest is the ongoing journey that follows his commissioning. It is God’s unique adjustments and assignments in his life—devotionally, relationally, and missionally.

Some quests are undertaken alone, pressing the Knight to draw deeply from his training and to rely fully on God. Others are shared with the brotherhood, and together their kingdom impact is multiplied.

Knighthood is not the end in itself… It’s just the beginning of a legacy of service.
